History

Snake Lake Construction was established in 1989 by Mr. Rene Rediron of Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan. Mr. Rediron saw an opportunity with the development of Key Lake Uranium Mine, which was located approximately 200 km North of Pinehouse Lake.

The original intent of Snake Lake Construction was to provide earthwork services to the uranium mining industry. As Mr. Rediron participated in the development of Key Lake and McArthur River mines, he saw more opportunity in the civil construction and providing general services to our clients.

In 1995 Snake Lake expanded the services it offered. Snake Lake became a General Contractor to include civil construction.

In 2003 Snake Lake expanded its services to include aggregate production and processing by acquiring a crusher operation. In 2008 Snake Lake acquired its second crushing operation and continues to successfully process aggregate.
